I was just thinking, I bet whatever she says won't cheer me up, and then I read it and smiled! lol.
But I do have an argument - Spike wanted a soul when he didn't have one; what's to stop him going and getting another one (if he came back without it)?
So my thoughts on how he gets to the Angel series are that he'll either nick Angel's shanshu prophecy and return as human, or it's got something to do with the amulet. W&H gave Angel the amulet, and like Angel told Buffy, they're hardly reliable, so who's to say that because it was Spike who used it that they don't 'own' him or something now? (Sort of like how Lilah's contract was for life and death) So they bring him back somehow... or he's some kind of representative for them, like a liason, like Lilah was in the Angel finale. I don't know...
All this thinking is making my brain hurt...

I could go to bed last night either for ages...I was dog-tired and probably not making sense (check with Horty)...I think we were ready to try and summon Hamlet's witches for an explanation of the plot...or Horty had Mr GrrArrg doing a masterpiece theatre thing...
But sleep is important part of the grief process...It might seem better in the morning...

I was spoiled. I knew it would happen - for ages beforehand, it seemed...
It just wasn't nice to finally read it and see pictures that's all.
But he'll be back somehow, although god knows how, or in what form.
Hmmm.

- that it's for the loss of the show I mean... because I think I lost it a while ago, when I stopped understanding exactly what they were doing with it! Lol. I'm not bashing here, simply saying that this season didn't play out in the way I had thought, and for me at least, it wasn't as good as it could have been. I didn't understand why some things were included, and why others weren't. Or why some characters and plotlines behaved the way they did. But then again, if I were one of the writers etc, I'd have made it wonderful - as would everyone else on this board with an opinion or a grudge. We all have different ideas for what we wanted to see, I suppose.

...the fact that WtP has actually been rather helpful really. All the wonderful discussions on the BC&S and ideas folks have had about literature connections.

As for Bub... Where does Bub get the scripts from anyway? Always first with the scripts...

Horty *is very thankful for the BC&S....no need for the finale really, board community makes up for annoyance, love the creativity of folks on the board, yet mourn the lack of it from JW.*

I saw some pictures of her at a convention and she is absolutely lovely...And apparently JM spend some time talking to her...

I guess being spoiled has helped me come to terms with a lot of things...so by the time it actually hits the screens over here, might be able to cope (plus all the season 5 Angel stuff will be about - and I agree, it's not my favourite show...I've tried really hard to like it...but...Maybe I'm just so Spike-centric that the automatic "poof" that comes to mind when he's on screen doesn't help...But for JM, I try again...). And I've ranted, and raved...and I'm now at the acceptance phase...
Personally, I like the denial phase...

And like you I have gained an awful lot from Buffy including here...
