*Slowly, a pendant begins to appear out of thin air. It is crafted from solid gold and shaped like the sun, with many sharp rays protruding all around the edge. The center part of the pendant reflects the sunlight blindingly when it is at the right angle. The mare opens her eyes and tells Snaer,* This is a magical pendant. It will protect your mate in battle and make him not notice any wounds he might get. The rays, though sharp, will never prick his hide--until the day you do not love him any more. Then he will feel the many small rays digging into his flesh, and he will mourn. *The pendant hangs on a golden braid large enough to go around the stallion's neck. It shines brightly.*
