You enter a broad, peaceful field. The sun is warm on your back. In the center of the field you can see the ruins of an old castle. It was a small castle, you can tell. You walk closer and peer through a crumbling doorway. You gasp in surprise when you see three creatures standing and facing you, like they were waiting for you. The one on the left is a winged unicorn mare. She is a palomino--her shiny hide is a rich dark gold and her mane, tail and forelock are thick, wavy, creamy white. Her horn is twisted ivory, her hooves are silver. Her wings are feathery white. "I am the Blessing Mare," she says softly. "If you ask, I will give you a blessing. It may be a gift for a loved one, if you wish, or if you ask for an Honor, I will give you one: maybe you shall be given a special Royal Ranking, or maybe you will get to choose the color and personality of your foal." She bows gracefully and then rises. "It is your choice. I am ever ready to serve you in any way I can." The creature on the right is a stallion, also a winged unicorn. He is tall, athletic and well-muscled. He is a bright blood bay--his coat is a reddish brown and his flowing mane, tail and forelock are coal black. His dark eyes glitter. His horn and hooves are gleaming gold. His wings are feathery black. He chuckles and steps forward. "Greetings, friend. I am the Disaster Stallion. If you want something exciting to happen, to liven up your territory, tell me, and I can make your wish come true. If you wish something bad to happen to someone else, tell me who they are and which territory they live at. If they don't respond within three days, a Disaster will be thrown on them and their territory." He cackles, bows, and steps back. The creature in the middle steps out. He is a stallion, larger then both of the other creatures, but also a unipeg. His shining hide is patched in jet black and brilliant white. His mane and tail are mingled black and white as well. His horn is twisted, one spiral of ivory, and one spiral of obsidian. His hooves are striped. He bows solemnly to you and says in a deep voice, "I am the Quest Stallion. Once in a while, a quest comes up, and someone is needed to go on it. They can be very long and dangerous. Whenever a Questor is needed, I will announce it, and the first to respond is the chosen one."
