Women and Our Role in Revival

Today, women have more rights than ever before. Our role in today's society is changing rapidly. It is also changing in the Church, taking on many more facets than in the past. We, as women, must utilize this new found freedom. To make it ours is to harness the power of Christ and deepen our Spiritual growth in this age of ever darkening and troubling times. We are more than just cookie bakers, social hostesses, and quilt makers. We, too, "wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Eph.6:12.) Therefore, it is only natural that we should "take...the whole armour of God, that [we] may be able to withstand in the evil day..." (Eph. 16:13.)

Many of us can see that the whole Church is in dire need of Revival. The well is running dry, the ground beneath our feet is brittle and cracking. Our land has become parched with thirst that only a true revival of the Holy Spirit, an awakening of our hearts can quench. As women, we play a vital role in this. For the sakes of our children, our husbands, our friends, this is a role we MUST take on. Come join me as I discuss how we, as women, can gird ourselves with truth, wear the breastplate of righteousness, shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace and "Above all, taking the shield of faith...[we can] quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..." (Eph. 16:14-18.) Through Christ, we can take on this world and this darkness that overwhelms our times. We can have Revival!

While this conference is directed toward women, feel free to bring the men in your lives. The more, the merrier!
