Subject: Tiger went to the bridge on his 10th Birthday leaving two broken hearts behind

Tiger woke up in a great mood, snuggled with his mommy in bed, ate a great breakfast, played with a couple of his birthday surprises and gave Ellie a run for her money when she kept trying to snatch the toys. I had to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon and when I got home, Tiger had taken a nap and not gotten up. Ellie met me at the door and led me straight to him. He went to the vet’s office to be cremated [the vet is making a special trip – I want to clone him].

Ellie is currently sticking to me like glue. This is the first time she has ever been the only boxer [somehow the C.A.T.S. just aren’t the same]. I have spoken to a friend of mine in rescue and she assures me that the perfect boxer son will be found quickly.

Tiger introduced me to boxers, and has left a Mack truck sized hole in my heart. I can’t believe he is gone. I have to go for now – I am having trouble typing through the tears.
