.....I tried to tell them. And now Gracie is so "rowdy" as they call it. They're thinking she will outgrow this and be SUCH a WONDERFUL and CALM dog, not like Butler, when she's older. I told them that I don't care what kind of dog you have - if you put it outside in a fence and don't play with it everyday, it will go crazy when people "visit". But....it's a dog, they said. Dog's live outside. So.....I'm staying out of this one. They're on their own. I taught her to sit, and showed them how to teach her other things, but they think I'm a little over the top where dogs are concerned.

She's really a gorgeous girl. And very sweet, but she has puppy teeth, and puppy toe nails, and both are very sharp. But people have a certain mindset as to what they think Golden's are. Plus, Titus is not a dog person, anyway. He could care less. Getting Gracie was my dad's idea. Now he's retired, and my mom is thinking - I don't know how we're going to afford this dog. My words to her were, "Oh, well. I tried to tell you, and you should have read the 30 plus pages I printed you on Golden's and caring for a dog in general before you brought her home".

I could easily get attached to her, but I'm distancing myself from the whole situation. I haven't even introduced Butler to her. I can't stand the thought of her being outside, so I'm keeping her "out of side/out of mind" so to speak.
