Sometimes the measure of our pain is equal to the measure of our love. She was your "special one". Not that you don't love all your boxer kids, I know you do. But it seems that sometimes we just connect really strong at the heart level, and those are hardest to take.

When you are feeling low, remember that Tigs would want her mommy to be okay. She really would. You didn't make her sick. She outlived just about all the boxer kids who have gone before except maybe Meri's Sassy. You two ladies were given wonderful blessings and a miracle to have your girls for so many years. Both devoted boxers.

I am sorry that her passing was so rough. It is harder to take when they go that way, I can attest to that.

My vote is that you allow yourself the grief, the tears, an if staying close to Tigra's things gives you comfort than so be it.

Know that you have friends who care and that love ya, even it it is from afar.
