Oh good I am so glad he is not seriosly injured. I would just die if he was.

I am so glad your going to help him loose a little weight. the first thing you do is just cut back the kibble and check the kibble for the fat content and the protein as this can be an issue. I think you feed the pro plan lite? I will go and look at what the fat content is but I do no you have had a lot of problems getting him on a food that he can tolerate and one he likes so you probably need to just keep him on this one but we should compare it to others just to see how much fats in it.

also I swear the veggie glop works, its easy, quick, cheap and they like it its green peas and carrots, and green beans, nuked for 7 minutes in water, than drain some water out and put in blender with a clove of fresh garlic and buzz up..it adds flavor and bulk as you use a garlic clove, and plain yogurt is also good the peas and carrots come in a small bag together and if you can't find it that way just get individual bags, it has little calories and they really do like it, and maybe some good low cal canned food, just a tiny bit. we also use beef stock in the can or chicken stock in the can for flavor this is low cal and they love it, I get the reduced sodium one and the low fat one NOT FAT FREE, this could also be a good thing to try for him. even after tony eats 2.5 cups at dinner, he is still hungry and searching around for more food, moving the bowl around and acting starving, so don't let him fool you that he is still hungry. putting a dog on a diet is hard and I DO feel for you and I know its hard, but hey, you yourself took a ton of weight off so you have the idea and the motivation to help him with his weight loss plan to... He will probably have more energy and feel better all the way arounf...He is a real baby doll and I miss him already. oh that face of his!!!!!!!!!!!give him a huggie from tony. so tell me when you give him the bull penis, they really do kinda stink but so what. If you like them I can show you where to buy them on line for 1.69 each, this is a deal as there not cheap in the stores. what I do is once the braid spilts apart, I seperate them out in 3's and give each dog one tiny piece you have to wait until its good and slobbery and the tp will be white so you will know its ready to split its kinda gross so you may want to wear gloves I don't but you may not like the slobber and the smell, that would be better than letting him have the entire thing in one sitting. they are supposed to be low in fat to and healthier than raw hides. give me a bull penis any day of the week over any other treat for them. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
funny I just found this company on line that says there bullky sticks don't smell, I will try these next but man, you have to buy 90 at a time, I get 25 at a time and that is enough but I would like to try these, check it out.
