It's been a week. He starts his single pill of Prednisone today, for a week. He is doing better... relatively. His leg is not swollen except for the paw area which still has some thickness to it.

He is fighting to get himself up, fighting to walk, fighting to get out the dog door and to the backyard. His rear legs function about 30% of their normal strength, but his enthusiasm to move right along is his devil... because his butt starts to swing around... which then twists his legs up and he then goes down....

He's a fighter..... and while his mobility is not back to what it was two weeks ago... it has been a vast improvement over just seven days ago.

Thanks for thoughts.
