My Mon died in 1983 and at times I still miss her. Something will come up and my first thought is "Mom will know". But she isn't here to ask and I get a moment of loneliness. Don't miss my dad as much. But Mom's are always special. So glad you have the fur kids.
When Goliath had to be pts. Ophelia laid beside him at the vets and gave him kisses. The minute he took his last breath she got up and walked away. The vet says they understand death and I totally believe they do. And deal with it better than we do.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
