Well I for one am glad the big guy hasn't made you move out! I do know that the addition of a foster dog must throw the house into a turmoil, especially one that has special health needs.

I also saw your reply to Lisa about Bunker not looking like he was abused. I remember thinking to myself just before Senny's last surgery (the sock blockage) that anyone that looked at her (thin/bony/eyes dull/in pain) would think that we didn't care for her at all and that she should be removed from our home! In actuality, we were on our 4th trip to the vet (4th X-ray/3rd bloodwork, 3rd underskin hydration, etc) and were in the process of demanding that the surgery be done even if we had to call it exploratoty! But if you looked at her - you truly would have thought that she had been severely neglected (very far from the truth, of course)!
