The by-products were an issue with me, but since they weren't at the top of the list, I decided to try it. You know, I did try him on the Natural Balance and for some reason it didn't work well for him. I fed him several bags hoping things would clear up, but they never did - until I started the Pro Plan. It has really been good for his skin issues, so as you said, I'm weighing the good with the bad, and just keeping an eye on him.
