Subject: here's my take..

As a long-time fan,I was actually bitter over the lousey writing and total lack of integration throughout Stavros' return from the dead. The ending was so stupid and unimaginative,I couldn't believe it. Watching people do a slow stroll through the maze was not exactly breath-taking. The actors were obviously as bored as I was;there wasn't one response from a performer that seemed even remotely engaged. Stephen Nichols was so badly wasted, yet again, that if he stays with this turkey of a show,I'll be stunned. He deserves so much better. I also have to say that I saw very, very little spark between Luke and Laura, and they could have phoned in their performances for the most part. I think I'll probably leave the show on,as background noise, for the time being. I guess I'm hoping that one day I'll overhear dialogue that captures my imagination and emotions, and I can actually look at the screen again. There are so many well-written,creative shows on anymore..granted,most in prime-time,but I doubt that good writers are not available to daytime. The conclusion of the Spencer-Cassadine wars should have been exciting and left no holds barred, but this war ended with a definite whimper. If I thought TPTB could read,I'd write them a letter, but I don't think I'll waste my time.
