climbs slowly through the black fog wrapping my senses, feeling the dull throbbing of my wounds, the magic burn on my shoulder being the worst thinks to myself it hasn’t healed at all since it happened a month ago….

slowly becoming more aware of my surrounds, stills, sensing something near by, lies still keeping my eyes closed, cursing the fact I can’t remember where my blades are or where I am for that matter, tenses slowly then suddenly lunges up from the bed twisting to the side, feet hitting the floor, balances on the balls of my feet in a half crouch black eyes sweeping the area for my blades

frowns as I look around beginning to recognize my surroundings as my brain catches up with my body, muscles relaxes slightly, spots my dirk on the table near the bed not seeing my sword, but does realize there are only two in the room, waits for my brain to catch up
