In the "Sandman" comic book Neil Gaimen did a story about a serial killers' convention...it was really quite funny and disturbing. They all got together in a hotel and compared methods and stories. They had panels and focus groups; the one I remember was "Women Serial Killers" or something like that. It was really good...I don't remember the issue number, but I can look up which trade paper back it is in.
