Dave I agree fully with everything that you said, couldn't have put it any better myself, eloquent and straight to the point. Time will tell whether it has any lasting effect! When Terry and Wes get these new computers fully functional they should have the facility to estimate the number of 'hits' obtained on this site from the amount of people who visit this web-site! I have been visiting other sites particularly the 27 Regt and 23Bty message boards and have obtained the distinct impression they they are having greater problems that we are keeping the ball rolling so to speak! The 27 Regt are having a Reunion in Coventry no less, in May and are struggling to get their required numbers to attend! Not just the cost factor but I estimate the actual location is wrong to provide the necessary links for those travelling from all points within the country. We I think are fortunate that Terry and Wes have been very clever in chosing a location that is far easier for accessibility from the motorway and rail-link, plus the added factor that most of the lads are more localised to a great degree. I am still in two minds whether to attend this Reunion in question! I do not know if Wes is contemplating attending this function! Might send him an e-mail just to see what he is doing nearer the date. Should be interesting to see what the turn-out will be! I have never attended a 27 Regimental bash before so if I go it will be a first! There are a few of our lads that ended up in 27Regt for one reason or other! Regardless I will keep in touch. Speak to you soon! Take care out there! Regards Jim.
