Dave, I think that we all know what you mean't mate, no worries on that score. I also have many memories from my time spent at Bramcote especially concerning certain characters on the permanent staff side. I estimate that some of them were there even when you passed through your training! To mention one at least John Dodd for instance, as he had been there donkey's years! Also my father in law who worked in the Medical Centre and QM's nicknamed 'the Dude'an infamous character of renown. Who had the permanent staff Bar on Camp named 'The Farter's Arms' You tell it from the Boys perspective and I'll interact from the permanent staff angle and see what we can dig up regarding these memories! Should be able to keep the grey-matter ticking along for some time yet! What say you?.........
I still find it truly amazing how many of us actually went through the same system, paths crossing in many ways through the march of time! Reflections and memories that co-inside and compliment one another to a great degree! Bloody hell, this piss-heads a poet!.....Bar steward, more cylindrical tubes of joy when your ready!...........
