Tony, Regarding Harvey Andrews LP. You want to keep hold of that as it is somewhat of a collectors item especially if it has been signed by the man in question. He still has a particular cult following, even today!
I remember when he released 'Soldier' that we were doing the Belfast city centre tour. Well some of us wanted to obtain by purchase the recorded single and we went to all the record outlets in the segment area's to try and buy it. Not so simple as it seemed as there was a ban on displaying said item, due to the fact of the controversial nature relating to a british soldier laying down on a bomb to protect the public in a bus station in said city of Belfast! They would only sell it to us from under the counter. Strange but true, never the less I believe that some of us went to a 'gig' where Harvey Andrews was performing whilst we were over there. I think it was in Lisburn. A memorable night of what I can remember!......Thankyou for jogging my memory. You know he still does 'gigs' now-a-days up and down the country. If you look on his web site you will see what I mean.
