Due to our conversation by landline that put me pointing in the right direction. At the very least, I now know what I am looking for! Should be interesting to see what if anything turns up regarding the history concerning that era of the Battery in Burma! I must admitt that I find the subject fascinating from all angles, especially because it also gives me an opportunity to pursue my family history also in regards my father that was in the RA in Burma serving with the 11 East African Division with the Kings African Rifles from Kenya. He had to learn Swahili whilst in Nairobi so he could communicate with the tribesmen under his command. I've got his Army Number, so I might pursue his Service Record at the same time as pursuing this Research into the Battery. Kill two birds with one stone , so to speak! Don't you think?...............
