OK mate, the mic should be built into the monitor then. Mine is just on the front, at the top.
There shouldnt't need to be any settings but I have just remembered messing about with getting a mic set up in IE. I am using Opera as my browser and that has a mic as standard because you can operate the browser using voice commands. Don't want to confuse you so, wait one and I'll have a look see if I can help out from this end.
