Wes, I think that I remember that particular incident. Me thinks the RSM at that time was Pat Lewis. He never could abide women loitering around distracting his lads even if they were WRAC's and like us on duty!...I remember vividly being on mobile patrols around the city centre where we came across these gates that hadn't been secured to this market area. Well we had to check it out!...Found a load of gash clothing,but more importantly box'es of women's tights of all sizes. So we decided to bring them back for the girls at the GCH. Remember Billy Hamilton driving around in a tatty old fur-coat.Bloody funny never the less! The Jolly Green Giant would have hung us up by our balls if he had caught us!...Which incidently, he didn't....That was one RSM with definately No sense of Humour,of what I can remember of him. Aye, The good old days to be sure!....
