Their Officers had no control over them. There was plenty of 'Racial Overtones'amongst this crowd. They had this black Captain,who was a pretty decent guy, but you think his guys respected him?...No chance!...They were that bigotted that they couldn't get past the colour! Sad but true I'm sorry to say! Anyway they had this Sgt that had done a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a typical loud mouth Yank constantly reminding you of the fact!..Right pain in the Arse, you know the type!..Got so sick of this individual that I used to say "Wish you had bloody stayed there!Preferably six-foot under!"..That shut him up at least for a time. I remember that we Brits were digging slit trenches in this FSS. The Yanks were on the inner parimeter digging what they called shell-scraps. I noticed that this Gob-shit was there so I thought I'll wind him up,so I calls out to him,"Hey Yank"..."I bet you dug them deeper in 'Nam!"....That hit the spot! I've always found that sarcasm is the best form of wit when dealing with his type!....Have you ever noticed when a Yank goes for a crap, or as they call it a sugar Dump!...They don't sqwat behind the nearest tree,thats too easy!..They walk miles away! Strange or what?..I reckon that their off for a five finger widow as well,the amount of time that they spend out there! Well this one Yank must of got lost or something because the next time I see him its nightfall and he is strolling about the position with his zippo'lighter on full flow looking for his way back into this tactical encampment. Well we were sending him every which way. He was getting tangled up in the barbed wire totally losing the plot! Brilliant fun!...Don't you just love our American Allies? What say you?......
