I grow tired of the race,
Weary but running on.
Sweat dripping down my face,
Wishing that it was all gone.
Most say life is short,
That the days are fleeting.
To that I would retort,
To that I would keep on bleeting.
Life is pain I need a hand,
To live is torture and sorrow.
But I am aided to stand,
To face the world tomorrow.
From these wounds I am able to mend,
For mucb help does the Lord send.
