Subject: Aftermath of the shooting

(ooc: this takes place before Hangover after the last RP)

A call is placed into dispatch. "Hello" the dispatcher says. "I've got an officer down" Vic says. "You have an officer down?" The dispatcher replies. "This is Detective Vic Mackey. I have an officer down. The god damn police radio in the van isnt working." Vic replies. "What is the condition of the officer?" The dispatcher asks. "He's dying" Vic says.

There is commotion on Vic's end of the line, then the call goes dead....

JUNO HOSPITAL, AN HOUR LATER

"So we bust in and I see this guy in the back bathroom, he gets off a couple shots. Shane and I hit back." Vic says to a couple of uniform officers. "Glad you killed the prick" One says.

Vic looks over at Shane who is being consoled by Officer Dani Sofer.

The crowd goes silent as Capt. David Aceveda and Assistant Chief Ben Gilroy come out of the hospital to address the crowd.

"At 1:29 am Detective Terry Crowley was admitted here for a single gunshot wound to the face. Surgeons made every attempt to recussitate. Ultimately, their attempts were unsuccessful..." Aceveda said, some in the crowd groaned, they knew what was going to be said next

"...Det. Crowley was pronounced dead at 2:14 am" Vic lowered his head. He saw Kurt Lemansky punch out a window in frustration. Mackey then goes to the front of the crowd. "I'm responsible" Vic says.
