I didn't expect the song to be analyzed. I think it speaks for itself. I'm a 38 year old and have been writing poems and/or songs for several years. Yeah, some of them I like...some of them I knew from the get-go were duds. However, I know I have something with this song. It is already in production and was put in that position without being analyzed. I know this because a lot of people who do this professionally have told me so...not because I'm egotistical. It's about a man who is telling his wife....if you doubt my love,just look around you. 1. He comes home 2. They've made a home together....not necessarily saying look at all I've done for you.
It's a song based on sentiment only......no hypothesis is needed, you see? I guess in any song the lyrics can be taken to mean a whole different thing that what the writer originally intended.
I would love to read some of your lyrics....I'm sure they're very good. Anyone who takes an interest in something enough to put up a board must be enthralled with something to a point. I applaud that....I love creativity.

- Sure! My brother is working on a string arrangement for it. Though he's always performed in a heavy metal based band, he is miraculously willing to work with this one which is a country ballad.
