His own step was taken forward, completing that segment of the dance as he brought her to his chest. Her locks fell against his shirt, her cheek rubbed against the thread that covered him. He arms enclosed around her, tenderly, as a mother would her child, and he waited for her to move on. As he held her, the collar of his shirt fell away from his flesh, revealing the tenderly embellished kiss that resided upon his collar bone.
