“No,” Erlic answered in reply to her question about whether he used magic. “I’m not a mage in any sense, although I do enjoy the company of mages, especially those with no hair on their scalp.”

Jade smiled in a bemused way. "Whatever shall we do when my hair grows back, then?" She ran her hand over the smooth skin of her scalp. Before long she would have a lovely reddish fuzz growing on it. She didn't want to think about where else the reddish fuzz would grow, and she hoped fervently that it wouldn't itch for too long.

She peered with interest at Erlic's choices in literature. Torture, languages, ancient cultures, geomancers. An interesting eclectic mix. She put the spell books into her pack, sighing at the weight. She really preferred to travel light, which was why she preferred jewelry and gems over carrying the heavier gold that the others had picked up. Later if she chose she could sell the items and get as much gold as the others had taken. In the meantime she wasn't weighted down by it.

They checked out the rest of the building but there was nothing further of interest, so they headed back out to where the rest of the party was soaking in the hot springs. She set her pack down near his and watched as he disrobed, smiling at the sight of his well-toned body. She hardly noticed the scars. They only served to show that he was a good fighter and had much experience at it.

As he stepped into the hot water and began washing his clothes out she undressed, leaving only her underwear on. She had no bra, and everyone had already seen her naked so she felt no embarrassment at going topless into the hot spring.

She slid down next to Erlic and smiled. "If you move out a bit I can wash your back, darling." He opened his eyes and smiled at her, sitting forward enough so that she could get behind him. She slid her hands over his shoulders, her fingers massaging, squeezing the muscles to work out the tension in them. She slid her hands down his back, doing the same for those muscles, moving back up to his neck and shoulders finally.

She leaned forward, kissing the back of his neck softly as her hands slid down his arms. Then she slid out from behind him and slipped around in front, her arms sliding around his neck as she leaned into him. Her eyes gazed into his just before she pressed her lips against his, kissing him softly at first, then deepening it as she pressed against him. Finally she broke the kiss, tilting her head back slightly as she looked into his eyes.

"You like?" she asked softly, her voice nearly a purr, her eyes shining as she sought something in his.
