Argus gawked at Laurel as she undressed right down to her unmentionables! He found himself turning red and tried not to stare.

“Oh, sweet lady,” she said, laughing. “I’m not naked, you silly goose. Now either get undressed like a normal person or jump in fully clothed, if it suits you. But don’t stand there staring all day. It’s rude, you know.”

Argus didn't want to be rude, but he was a modest man and didn't relish the thought of parading in front of other people in his underthings. He looked around uncertainly and caught sight of a nearly naked Jade. He nearly had a siezure and quickly turned away. "That... that... she's nekkid!" He spluttered.

He realized that Laurel had ducked under the water and hadn't heard him. It was probably just as well. He didn't want her to know he'd just made an idiot of himself. She came up out of the water and looked at him exasperatedly. Then somehow her brain apparently disengaged and she began speaking like an imbicile again just like she had when he'd first arrived.

“The…water…is…good,” she said slowly, “See?” she flicked a few warm droplets toward him, smiling reassuringly. “Good water. Why don’t you come in?”

Argus sighed, resigning himself to it. He quickly stripped down to his underwear and hopped in, hoping no one had seen him. To make matters worse, now it would be even more obvious if the sight of Laurel in her undergarments should start to overstimulate him. By the gods, he thought it was happening right now in fact!

"Yes, La'el, de wati is very..." he cleared his throat "... nice."

His eyes met hers and he smiled shyly. "Ay dun usually go half nekkid in front of beautiful women." He blushed again. Then, to cover his embarrassment, he splashed her, grinning. "Ay'll race yew across de pond!" And he took off swimming for the other side.
