Corum almost snickered to himself as he watched Marz in action. He went here, and then he went there, and then he went somewhere else again, making sure that he was keeping abreast of whatever was happening in the temple. Not that there was a lot going on, but it seemed that Marz had to be notified about everything, anything, up, down, left, right, and even in between. What a guy.

Corum simply shrugged, and watched as they headed into some sort of a room. A few moments later, Marz’s voice could be heard asking everyone to leave for a few moments. And that was when Corum made his move, moving toward the door right next to the one Marz, and Tristan were in. Tia, and Jeremy were right with him, and not being a thief, and a magic user, and not having any salt on him, tried his hand at opening the door, which surprisingly opened with ease.

“Well that wasn’t so bad,” Corum stated to Tia as they walked into the room. Corum simply looked around thinking he might find something unusual, when in all actuality, it wasn’t all that unusual. The room housed about ten beds, a few stands in between the beds, which he presumed was probably used to store various stuff, a wash basin, a desk in the corner, and a small altar in the center of the far wall.

“Probably where the soon to be clerics slept before they actually became clerics,” Corum stated with a sort of amusement. He couldn’t see anyone studying to be a cleric, but figured out that some people were just destined to that sort of life. That was fine by him, as long as it didn’t include his own life. Anyway, they’d have to take in Yorik with them, and that might cause some complications.

Corum started to search the beds, looking under the pillows, the mattresses, and even under the bed. “What are you doing?” Tia asked.

“I’m looking for stuff,” Corum answered.

“Stuff?” Tia questioned.

“Yeah, stuff,” Corum replied. “You know stuff that they might have had but didn’t carry on their person, so they put it in this room for safe hiding. You know, stuff.”

He went back to doing what he was doing, when his hand hit something. He pulled out a dagger. “Stuff!” Corum exclaimed showing the others the dagger.

“Oh,” Tia stated while rolling her eyes. “That kind of stuff.”

Corum continued to rummage, and pulled out a sack, and threw it on the top of the bed, next to the dagger. Along came a small chain, and that was the end of that. He opened the sack, and emptied it onto the bed. About twenty gold coins came out of it, and Corum’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Maybe becoming a not quite cleric wasn’t that bad after all. They even had money.”

He started to head to the other bed, while the others started to rummage in a similar manner hoping to find some wealth.
