Corum had followed Marz, and Tristan to the room along with Barry, and was quickly asked to investigate the closet. He thought it kind of odd, but then again, maybe Marz wasn’t feeling all that well, especially after the hard fight he had had. Chances were good he was still weak, so being the nimble headed fool that most people thought him to be, he went into the closet to check it out.

All of a sudden the lights went out, and he, and Barry were suddenly in a darkened room. Corum thought he heard the sound of a click but wasn’t sure. He tried to open the door but it wouldn’t budge.

“Yo Marz!” Corum yelled. “The door’s locked!”

“Must be jammed,” Marz yelled back his voice becoming somewhat muffled. “Give me a minute.”

Corum waited, and waited, and waited, and nothing happened. He put his ear to the door, and suddenly heard the grunts, and groans of lovemaking going on right on the other side of the room. Sheesh, couldn’t they simply tell him not to follow along? They had to do it while he was in the room? “This is nuts Barry,” Corum remarked to his skull friend. “Making out while we’re in the closet, and with the door locked of all things. I guess we didn’t find the chick you were looking for.”

The grunts and groans were becoming a bit louder, and Corum finally got disgusted at being locked in the room. He crossed his arms, and leaned back against the wall of the closet, and started to fall backwards. The next thing he realized was that he was moving, in a very strange way. His head was angled downward, and somehow Barry wound up sitting on his chest. How in the world this had happened was beside him, but he felt himself moving faster, and faster, until he hit the floor. He shook his head only to see a part of the wall closing up on him with a thud. When he looked around, he realized he was on the first floor of the tower. “Hey Barry!” Corum exclaimed. “That must have been a secret door I found that slides one to the first level of the tower. That was way too cool.” His eyes darted back and forth as a grin came to his face. “Let’s do that again!”

Corum and Barry were just about to head up the stairs when the youth spotted a set of keys hanging from a spike on the wall. “Hey, perhaps these keys open up other things in this tower. Best that we take them just in case.” He flung the keys in his pocket, and made his way back upstairs until he came to the door that Tristan, and Marz were behind. He tried to open the door, and found it to be locked. “Damn!” Corum muttered. “It’s locked.” Suddenly the keys popped into his mind, and he quickly dug them out. He tried one, then another, until he finally found the right key. He opened the door, and walked in on Marz, and Tristan who were half naked, and making a bunch of weird sounds on the bed.

“Don’t mind us guys,” Corum stated as he headed for the closet nearly tripping on one of Marz’s boots that littered the floor with other various remnants of clothing. He thought that Marz was a neat freak; at least that’s what Marz had told him. He simply shrugged, and unlocked the closet, and entered it, closing the door behind him. “C’mon Barry, let’s make this a good run!”

With that, Corum grabbed Barry, and held him to his chest. “Ready?” Barry simply spoke his mind. Corum leaned against the wall, and wooooooosh they started to travel downward again, increasing in speed, faster, and faster, until they managed to hit the ground once again. Somehow there must have been a secret device that when the door of the closet swung open, it automatically opened the other door at its base. Way too cool.

Corum was about to try it again, when he heard the voices of the others saying they were about to leave. “Well, so much for the fun,” he explained to Barry. “Hey! Maybe they got more of these things elsewhere in the city. We’ll have to search them out. Way too cool.”
