Isobel felt a twinge of regret for having reminded Ravin of a painful experience. "I am sorry it did not work out. Perhaps it was not the right time," she offered, feeling rather foolish for the words.

She followed his gaze to where the others were taking a swim... Saras went splashing into the water in a very inelegant dive (she hadn't seen Rowan throw him in). "It certainly looks like they're determined to have a good time," Ravin remarked, still drinking his whiskey.

Isobel nodded, finishing her tea. Then she grinned and stood up, grabbing Ravin's hand. "Come, then! Shall we swim?" She walked backward, pulling him toward the water a short way, then released his hand, turned, and leapt into the pond. Soon her pantalones floated to the top and she tossed them onto the bank, swimming only in her undergarments and the skimpy Jann top. She turned and spit a stream of water at Ravin.

"Come in, Se�or Ravin. The water is wonderful!"
