Tia smiled at Rowan when he came to sit beside her. The memory of waking up beside him in the tent embarrassed her momentarily, but she brushed the feeling aside. She was pretty positive that nothing happened for her to feel embarrassed about anyway. When the elf hugged her and gave her a little kiss, she stared at him blankly. What was that for? Did he think he could just go around kissing her any damn time he wanted? Nothing wrong with that, she mused. In fact, she liked it when he kissed her! And, she already told him that a couple of times didn't she?

Her eyes lit up when Rowan reminded her about the treasure they might find in the ruins of Twilight. Maybe it would be enough for her to give up her life of crime and settle down. Naw, it would never be enough because she wanted too many luxurious things. Having her own home fully paid for would be a perfect start. She was tired of living in her small, run down rental apartment in a neighborhood that was slowly being overrun with beggars. She hated the fact that they sat around all day begging for money! Let them learn how to lift a few purses for a living like she had done.

"Finding a hundred ruby necklaces would make me very, very happy, Rowan," she said, before taking a bit out of the slice of bacon she held. "In fact, a find like that might even make me forgive you for dragging me off to help you escort a simple caravan that turned into a very dangerous adventure!!"

Jeremy felt bad about Erlic's news and the visions Ravin had. Although he never got really close to Eremis he liked him, and didn't think he deserved to be in the clutches of some maniac crimelord. He met Jake briefly and could understand how awful he must be feeling for causing a nasty chain of events because he couldn't keep his mouth shut.

He really hated the idea of this crimelord sending some thugs to Neromba to kill or capture Erlic, Ravin, and especially Marz. His heart would be broken if anything bad happened to the ex-gang leader! He frowned when he saw Marz and Tristan sharing an embrace in the distance.

"I really don't understand why Marz wants to waste his time with a dragon instead of another human," he said to Saras. "When you really think about it, it’s kind of kinky, you know. I mean in reality, Marz is actually having sex with an animal. How gross is that?" The otherworldly youth scrunched up his face in disgust then went back to finishing off the chunk of ham he held in his hand.
