Not one of the outfits Marz so neatly placed in the pack before leaving the palace was left without wrinkles. He sighed deeply. Just what the hell am I suppose to wear?, he wondered, while doing his best to smooth out the wrinkles from a shirt he laid across one of the huge pillows. It might be a better idea to remain bare-chested, rather than dress in something that looked worse than an old ladies face!

Silently fuming, he returned to his folding, once again setting each garment neatly inside the pack. Maybe Tristan didn't mind looking like a wrinkled prune, but Marz wasn't about to parade around like that! From now on the dragon was banned from going anywhere near the bag of clothes they shared. If he needs something, he can ask ME to get it for him!

When his hand brushed against the newly acquired coin purse at his waist belt, he removed it and took a look inside. His eyes widened at the amount of gold the assassin had been carrying. Thanks to Corum, it now belonged to him. After all he was the one that told the skull-staff wielder to search the dead body! Briefly, he thought about splitting the wealth with his friends, but that idea didn't appeal to him at all. The money is mine. All mine! A greedy smile came to his face as he hid the money pouch beneath the clothing that was already in the pack.

Gently, he rubbed at one of the burns that covered his chest because the damn thing was starting to itch. Maybe he'd ask Val to apply a little more ointment later, if the itching got worse. After taking a sip from his juice flash, he picked up another shirt to fold then glanced at the tent flab when Tristan walked in.

"I don't want to sleep outside," the dragon said abruptly, before coming to kneel beside him. "Why can't we just stay here for a few hours?"

It's too raking cold in here! Marz was about to day, but was silenced by Tristan's kiss. It took about two seconds for the shock of the dragon's aggressiveness to wear off and be instantly replaced by intense passion. After he was pushed down against the pillows, Marz gazed up into the dark eyes of his lover and reached up to stroke his cheek with the tip of a finger.

"Please?" Tristan asked. The dragon's hands suddenly started to roam along his body, making it tingle before their lips met in another kiss that deepened his arousal.

Please what? Marz wondered, forgetting the dragon's initial question. In fact, he forgot about the wrinkled clothes, money pouch, and his burns as well. His thoughts were consumed with Tristan and the wild, nearly uncontrollable desire he had ignited within him.

"Rake that fire outside," Marz whispered, his fingers now tearing at the laces of his lover's shirt. "Who needs it when we can make our own heat?" With one quick move, Marz managed to pull Tristan's shirt off, tossing is aside haphazardly. He drew the dragon into another kiss then rolled him onto his back and proceeded to show him just how hot things could get without the aid of a real fire.
