Subject: Priate Ships! AHOY!
In reply to: Moonlight 's message, "The Friend When All Else Is Gone" on Tuesday, September 29, 03:51:15pm

The daylight was ebbing past the white sails of clouds overhead. The ships of the sky rolled slowly overhead and the stain of yellow sun was everywhere. The days had been growing colder as Mercedes had traveled. But it was just this type of weather that brought out the frisky nature of her breed.

Her eyes darted away as the female spoke, taking in the linger forms of other horses not to far away. They had not wished to meet the young equine and that was troublesome to her. But just as the fear began to inflame, the lead was reassuring her. She was young but the words had profound meaning to her heighten towers. Her dark velvet maw relaxed its tension as the nuzzle of the other brushed her broad cheek. It was a gesture of trust and it filled the female sails with ease. Her tail flicked against the black towers that were her hind legs. "And I shall always return the favor." It wasn't spoken aloud but was oozing out of every body movement. She was glad to have a home.
