Very reminiscent of Buffy for me. In good ways.
May, with her kickboxing moves and stapling of Ward's foot.
"You were never on top." Good stuff.

It put a smile on my face to see Patton Oswalt back too.

...and when Garrett started with the megalomaniac crap, Coulson comes in and zaps him, much like Buffy did to the big and little bads, back in the day. *sigh*
A very entertaining season finale, it was.
Flaws and all.

I think I'm going to like next season.
