Vin Diesel is Groot! Guessing just the voice; he's good at a rasping grunt - definitely sounds tree-like.

This is definitely in the vein of Buffy. It's a show that makes fun of itself, sees humor in the worst of situation and yet has that biting edge. Firefly was like that, though seemingly a bit less with the humor, and could have been GotG had it lived on. Aw heck, it was GotG.

I definitely view this now as the A-ticket ride for the summer. The one issue for me is that it's coming out on a long weekend up here, may be tough to get to if we're out camping somewhere. Either way, looks like fun and something we're all happily looking forward to seeing.
