Subject: Amber Benson's new role

MORGANVILLE: The Series - It started in 2006 with the release of the young adult novel Glass Houses … and concludes in November 2013 with the release of Daylighters, the fifteenth book in this internationally smash hit series by Rachel Caine.

Guess what? It's about vampires... The synopsis: Claire Danvers is trying to get through college, with the popular girl doing her best to make her life a living hell. What she didn't expect is the town to be run by blood sucking vampires.

Amber plays Amelie - the immortal Founder of Morganville. Robert Picardo (The Doctor from Star Trek - Voyager) is also in Morganville.

They just wrapped up the first day of shooting.

No news as to what venue will host the show. It is supposed to be a mini-series.

The series based on the best-selling novels will premiere in summer 2014 on Geek & Sundry

I might give it a try for Amber and Robert, but it's hell sitting through a "teen" based tv show these days.

...... interesting that those who played the teens of a decade ago are now playing the 'adults.' Have I lived that long? I guesss so, Micky Rooney died and that made me sad....
