To paraphrase her take on it, " The show jumped the shark and as it was passing over the shark, the shark reached up and disembowled the whole damn thing".

She's been nagging me about my reluctance to watch the series since it started, now she's unhappy about how things ended up. Me, I am nostalgic for the good old days of "Manhunter" when Lecter was simply a cunning genius in a jail cell.
