That's crazy! I know it's been bitter cold in Saskatchewan and yet, it got warm enough a few days ago to freeze, so they have a lovely layer of ice over everything...

we had a little snow a few days ago but it's gone at ocean level. Andy came home for a week (the joys of working remotely means anyplace with good wifi can be a workplace) and we went out to a tree farm yesterday to get one. It was cooler up there but not even freezing where the ankle deep snow was. If anything,it's a drier autumn than usual up here. Didn't start wearing a proper rain jacket till about three weeks ago. Hopefully we luck out and don't have a bad fire season next year.
