Subject: Snow Pics!

Snow Pics around the house are here: http://lijability.livejournal.com/56881.html

About 4 more inches of snow last night, but I think 4 inches of Wednesday's snow melted yesterday. Hard to tell if we're still having a light snow or not. The wind pics up and blows the fresh snow from the tree limbs and it breaks up into fine snow quite easily.

We did get some snow on Christmas day and it was pretty...but sadly caused a lot of accidents on the highway.

Trucks were jack-knifed on the road. A whole interchange in town was shut down because cars got stuck on the ramps. Even a snow-plow had an accident.

13 different power outages around the county.

We had thunder-snow early in the morning. I kept seeing my lights dim and was sure I was going to lose power around 5-6 am on Wednesday. Then I saw a flash of lightning and the lights dimmed again, so I am fairly sure that was causing the dimming. I didn't hear any thunder until the last of the 4 lightning flashes. I guesss the snow was muffling the thunder, it was so thickly falling.
