I am always amazed when they even begin to entertain the concept of the show not going overtime...

Seth did okay. I have never been a fan but he has enough talents to at least make me forget about James Franco!

Happy to have Adele win, I love Skyfall ( the movie) and the Bond movie series had never won for a theme song before. Plus hey, Ben Affleck is the longer a punch line in a joke anymore!!!

The guy gushes over the Bond tribute and then says he doesn't understand what the lyrics for 'Skyfall' mean?? FFS, the lyrics ARE the freaking story between M and Bond...which means he is pretty much clueless or lying about the Bond tribute and hasn't seen the latest movie in the series.

Ali and I talked tonight about the seeming backlash over Seth's work last night and we agree that a large number of people on the internet like to bitch for the sake of bitching. Being the host for the Oscars is a pretty thankless job, I hope he takes the high road and doesn't sign up again for it. Like I have said, I am not a fan but I have seen far, FAR worse schtick done in the role.

Ricky Gervais and James Franco, I am looking at you.
