Was reading about this a while back...would be interested in seeing if this ever gets conclusively proved or not. I know we're reluctant to start gardening here until we can get a cat-proof enclosure for the raised beds. On the other hand, I think my kids have a lot stronger immune systems than their "uber-clean, disinfect everything" cousins and a good deal of their friends as well, simply because they've lived around a variety of animals all of their lives.
