Subject: OMG!!! American Horror Story!!
It's like the old American Gothic with ghosts on steroids!!! And all the 'normal' people are extra-creepy too!
The show left quite a first impression. Let’s just say the rest of the season will have to do plenty of work to keep up with the amount of insanity crammed into this first hour of FX’s "American Horror Story." The writers wasted no time getting to the weird stuff, and that they have surrounded Connie Britton (Violet) and Dylan McDermott (Ben) with a supporting cast happy to amp up the freak-out factor.
Twin boys, warned by the neighbor, a Downs child. Don't make it out of the basement. What "creature" exists in the basement."
'The previous owners restored everything, like a charm, lovingly....' 'Gay?' 'What do you think?'
'Must disclose - last owners.... murder-suicide. In the basement.'
LOL... the daughter, Violet, hates the house until she learns about the murders... "we'll take it!"
Adelaide!! Addy!! As her nosy, snobby neighbor-mother Constance (Jessica Lange) says, "the Mongoloid." "I thought those people were supposed to be stylish." (The previous owners).
No.... they were just into leather.
Psychiatrist/Psychologist and his patient... who like their daughter is/was a cutter.
Moira O'Hara.... two women in one.
Missing razor blades.
Housekeeper in heat.
Husband sexually out of control, sees a man in the back yard.
Noises, doors opening.... Addy back in the house laughing... the dead twin boys....
It certainly excels at the quirk, and has some outrageous psychosexual connotations, and there’s plenty of teenage angst and alienation thrown in for good measure.
Moira in the den with Ben Harmon....
The dead corpse of her child in her belly, and Ben buries his sorrow in a 21 year old pussy, says Vivian
And Vivian got a dog.... Ben needed his wife and she got a dog.
A little tussle before the love-making....
Psycho-boyfriend gives Violet a new idea to stop her girl=bully at high school with fake drug sale and his performance of Helter-Skelter, a la the Manson family.
Man (ghost?) in latex body suit screws Vivian while Ben is obsessed with fire in from the gas stove in the kitchen. But neigbor Constance stops him from setting his hand on fire - "it's not your time."
But then, Vivian, "I love you." Ben, "I love you too."
Basement, Violet and the bully..... "Normal People Scare Me" Psycho-boy channels the bad spirits/creature? Bully AND Vivian freak-out!
Out for a run.... Ben meets Larry Harvey, the man from the back yard. A past owner of the house. Sets fire to his wife and kids. Oh what an evil smile!
Connie and Moira in the house.... Connie stealing, Moira threatens, Connie threatens back, "don't make me kill you again!"
Vivian wants Indian food, she only wants Indian food when she's pregnant! But who is the father? Ben or the man (the ghost?) in latex?
A really wild ride...

Is the baby Ben’s, or is it, in the style of "Rosemary’s Baby," a demon baby courtesy of the S&M ghost?
What’s the deal with psycho-boyfriend Tate? Is he a real patient who wants to kill people, or a spirit in the house?
What’s up with Constance (Jessica Lange)? What are her motivations?
Will the mix of sex and violence be too much for an American audience?
Or will this be just a fun and freaky show to follow?
Anyone else catch it?

Took the dogs out to the hatchery tonight right after supper (got some pics of the "Superman" shoot happening tonight at the old biker bar/pub at the turnoff...something like 60 vehicles there for support. What a zoo!!!!) and then got the stuffed turkey breast roll made up and frozen for Monday's feast. (camping up at Campbell River for three nights)

The first ep seems to be a foundation though. I can't imagine that they will outdo it or even come close, but that might?!
I've decided to catch it on Wednesdays after prime time.
I'm still attached to the subtleties of Revenge and even a Stablerless L&O:SVU.

Who isn't a ghost/demon in this show?
I'm fairly sure the family of Ben, Vivian, and Violet are real. Beyond that Violet's girl-bully seemed to be real. But I'm not so sure of even the realtor that sold the house to them.
The guy who burnt up his family could even be a ghost. Even if he isn't his presence is disconcerting, especially to Ben. So could he be the guy who showed up in latex/leather and screwed Vivian? Could he be the father of her child? Although that guy seemed to have more disabilities that was displayed by the latex-clad spector.
I get the feeling even Jessica Lange and her daughter Dylan are even ghosts. Perhaps the original ones from the house?
So far we haven't seen the two gay guys? So maybe there weren't two gay guys! A red herring?
