Subject: I got DSL!!!!!

And not only that.... IT WORKS!!!

I don't know what speed I am cruising at - I am only supposed to be up to 1.5Mb/sec which is small potatoes to what some of you are probably doing. But maybe I can watch a YouTube now. I am 2 miles from a switch in our small town and that is supposed to limit me. Size of the two limits me also, they are not putting the highest speed into it. My LAN link speed is said to be 100Mb/sec but the utilization is only at maybe 1.23% at it's highest which would be 1.23Mb/sec. So I seem to be getting good speed.

Finally.... the headache of dial-up surfing is gone and it appears that I no longer have problems with that modem bombing my computer.

I AM IN HEAVEN!!

Well, it is only costing me US $14.95 a month right now. In a year it goes up to $35.00. In a year you might find me on Satellite Internet.

I'm limited to 150Mb/month downloads on AT&T. That alone might make me jump ship.
