"Well," the mage said to himself, "here goes something." Star flung her 'big-ass shuriken' at Iggy and continued charging, as she was planning to follow up the conformer's attack with a few blows of her own But as the ninja star was millimeters away from Iggy's jugular vein, he too blinked out of sight. The weapon returned to Star's hand and she stopped.

"Where are you, you big chicken?" she asked.

"I'm here." a bodiless voice replied.

"Where?"

"Here, there and everywhere. On the land, on the sea in the air." the voice began to echo and reverberate from all around her. She shifted around where she stood, straining to see where Iggy was. Suddenly she was able to hear rustling in the tall grass around her, but she couldn't place where exactly.

"Boo," said a voice behind her. She turned to see her opponent, standing with his arms crossed. His voice still echoed, as though there weas more than one of him. "Miss me?"

"Only because I didn't aim well enough," she quipped as she once again ran toward Iggy. Before she could reach him, she was restrained.

And Iggy...?

A small battalion of Iggy-clones surrounded her in the field, and hovered above her in the sky. She grabbed one of the clones by the waist and stabbed him woth the conformer. As she did so, a tatoo-esque mark of a magic circle wrapped itself around her forarm. She broke free of the other clone's grasp and attempted to blast them all away.

She could not.

"A variation of the trap used on Amanda. Well done," commented an Iggy-look-alike from above. "Doppelganger spell to restrict movement, then employ the Bind spell to keep her from using magic. I'll have to remember that when she is finished with you, fraternus."

"STAY OUT OF THIS, MARIUS!" yelled the Iggy-clones. They dogpiled on top of Star, pinning her to the ground.

"Do not worry," said Marius, "I will not interfere..."

What now, Hoshiko-kun?
