He staggered a bit at what she had said. Did she really believe that she didn't have the right to be his fiancee? Over a kiss? It sickened him to his heart. Not that she had kissed his brother, but that she thought that no longer could be with him because of one kiss. One stupid, insignificant kiss.

"Mandi-Chan, it would take a lot more that just one kiss for me to give up on you." He picked up the ring, and once again slipped it on her left hand ring finger. "And besides, I felt that kiss too." He knew that it would not make her feel any better about it, but it was all he could think to say. He turned to face her, but she looked away. He gently took her head in his large, gloved right hand (for his left had also felt the damage she had dealt to Marius' left arm, 'tho he dared not tell her that), and turned her head towards his.

"We can supress certain feelings so that only the other can feel them, or block them from feeling anything," he continued. "He never felt the kiss. He supressed his own feelings so that I could feel the kiss. He kinda relayed the sensations to me forfeit his own." He then pulled Amanda into an embrace. He could think of nothing else to say, except, "I'm sorry for my brother."

They broke the embrace. A thought then occured to him, followed by a wicked smile. "I think I know a way to get back at him."

Marius has back in a very dark and largly unused part of Washu's lab where he spied on his and his brother's enemy. He was tending to the wound inflicted by his soon to be sister-in-law, when suddenly...

"WALK THIS WAY! AND TALK THIS WAY!! WALK THIS WAY! AND TALK THIS WAY!! (SHE TOLD ME TO...!)"

"Dammit, Daniel!" said Marius as he tried to cover his ears from the noise. The music didn't stop. "TURN THAT SHIT OFF!!"

Iggy chuckled as Amanda cranked the volume on her CD player up from "High" to "Wake-Up-Your-Neighbors-In-Istanbul Loud."

"Hey, Mandi-chan, after we make Mars deaf, would you please take me to see Tay?"

"How come?" the gleefully vengeful blone asked.

"Well, I've been fighting darn near everyone else, and I don't want her to feel left out..."
