Don't irritate me. Marylanders are NOT Yankees, but neither are we Southerners. (Not that we claim to be, for that matter.) Maryland is SOUTH of the Mason-Dixon line, therefore we are a SOUTHERN state. Also, Maryland stayed neutral in that war, and provided troops to BOTH sides. It doesn't matter that I don't make a speech on how wonderful I am so that I win Champion, my speech was great and wasn't egocentric like Angie's... Reserve Champion is fine...
