I want to state some facts I think that need to be reviewed.

1. The war is on like it or not.
2.Saddam is the one who chose this war, not us.
3.It is not about oil. It is about freedom from the regime.
4.We all have the right to express our opinions.It's American. Some though I think have carried on too long and sadly are dividing the country.

Now I want to point out also, that all this belly aching about Bush is not helping our troops or country. We should be supporting them and praying for a quick end.

This is something I read in our local paper and I feel it hits the nail on the head:

A sign at an auto-body shop in Yonkers that tells anti-war protesters to "Keep your big mouth shut" is drawing motorist's waves, honks, thumbs-up signs and even signatures.
The 10-by-6 sign was commissioned by Frank Multari, owner of FJM Auto Sales and Service. He paid $300 for it and lifted it onto the back of a truck for passers-by to see.
"Protesters," it says, "Keep your big mouth shut. You live here, you reap the benefits. Support your country, your president, your troops. Truly yours, Vietnam Vet."
Multari said the sign "Is not about whether you agree with the war or not. But if your're a patriot, keep your mouth shut even if you don't agree with it.... Take it from me as a front-line veteran, you're not helping anyone but the enemy.
"Keep your mouth shut even if you don't agree with it."

I understand that the anti-war people need to express their opinions. They have. But protesting is not going to stop the war at this point. We are already well into it. IMO we need to do what we can to make things easier and support our country. Use that energy for good things. Help turn things around and be united once again!
