SGT. BELL, SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND. I WAS AT DANANG AIR BASE 7JAN72-7JAN73 IN THE USAF FIRE DEPT. I REMEMBER BEING SENT OUT FOR SOME CONTROLLED BURN ON THE BASE PERIMETER WITH A WATER TANKER. THE USAF POLICE WERE SPRAYING THE AREA WITH DEISEL FUEL, I REMEMBER THE GUY TELLING ME THEY USED TO JUST USE WEED KILLER (PROBABLY AGENT ORANGE OR SOMETHING NOT GOOD FOR HUMAN EXPOSURE) THEY WOULD LIGHT IT OFF AND WE WOULD STANDBY SO IT WOULD NOT GET OUT OF CONTROL. BAD THING I WAS PROBABLY BREATHING AREA THAT AT ONE TIME WERE SPRAYED WITH SOME KIND OF AGENT ORANGE OR SOMETHING. WHAT I HAVE READ BREATHING BURNED AGENT ORANGE IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU. I HAVE PROSTATE CANCER-REMOVED 2 YEARS AGO, DOCTORS TOLD ME IT WAS A VERY AGGRESSIVE CANCER. MY PSA IS STILL AT ZERO, CHECKED EVERY 3 MONTHS. SO, KEEP AN EYE ON YOURS. HOPE LIFE HAS BEEN FAIR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. WELCOME HOME. GOD BLESS PAT SPELLACY USAF 1970-1974.
