Subject: Re: agent orange claim

Hey sgt. Borges,
I have been hoping someone from there would post.
I was stationed at MAG-15, MAC-15, MAR-15 Iwakuni, Japan, and I too washed and serviced TD-16 and TD-18 Bulldozer Tractors,as well as graders that were used to clear fire base camps, and heli-pads in Vietnam during spring, summer, and fall of 1969.
I did not get the non hodgekins limphoma. However, I did get the Cloracne, diabetes (Mellites II), my hands and feet tingle and are numb quite frequently, as well as havig had to have a couple of malignant tumors removed from my back because of that agent orange that was all over that equipment when they delivered it to us. Not to mention the prostate problems I face.
VA is not recognizing us if we weren't in vietnam.
However, don't lose hope in that for a claim, as I read a precedent where the government gave compensation to two servicemen that were not in vietnam from 1962, and 1963.
I hope this helps, sgt. Lets keep contact, as perhaps we can investigate it together and come up with a solution.
Respectfully, Semper fi. Thanks for serving.
Darryl
